How it works
01
Name the subject
Anything from a school topic to a hobby: "the French Revolution", "Java generics", "human anatomy", "Premier League history".
02
The AI writes the quiz
50 multiple-choice questions from general knowledge, each with one correct answer, three plausible wrong ones, a difficulty label and a short explanation.
03
Take it as often as you like
The quiz is saved to your account. Retake it, practise only the questions you missed, or send it to friends or a class by link.
Why make a quiz from a topic
Sometimes you do not have a document — you have a subject. You are revising for a test on the circulatory system, preparing for a job interview about Kubernetes, or just want to know how much you really remember about the Roman Empire. Writing thirty good questions by hand takes an evening; a topic quiz takes the time it takes to type the topic.
The questions come from general knowledge of the subject, which makes this the right tool for broad topics and the wrong one for your own course notes: a quiz about "cell biology" tests cell biology in general, not the specific chapter your teacher assigned. For that, generate a quiz from the PDF instead — it writes questions from the text you upload.
Every account gets 10 topic quizzes free. They cannot be bought — the allowance exists so you can see what a generated quiz looks like before paying for one from your own document.

Frequently asked questions
Is making a quiz from a topic really free?
Yes. Every confirmed account gets 10 topic quizzes, each 50 questions, at no charge. The allowance cannot be topped up — it is there to show what a generated quiz looks like.
Do I need an account?
Yes, a free one with a confirmed email, so the quiz is saved for you and you can retake it. The ready-made quizzes in the free library need no account at all.
How specific can the topic be?
As specific as you like — "Spring Boot 4 auto-configuration" works as well as "Spring Boot". Very narrow or obscure topics may produce fewer good questions, because the AI draws on general knowledge rather than a document.
Can I make a quiz in another language?
Type the topic in the language you want the quiz in. The quiz is written in that language.
What is the difference from a quiz from a PDF?
A topic quiz is written from general knowledge; a PDF quiz is written from the text of the document you upload, so it tests exactly your material. Topic quizzes are free; document quizzes are a one-off purchase priced by length, with a few free ones to try.
Can I share the quiz?
With Teacher mode (3-day free trial) you can send any quiz you own by link and collect every result. Without it, the quiz is yours to take and retake.
