AI quiz generator: a quiz with answers in seconds
Give it a PDF or a topic and get a multiple-choice quiz with one correct answer and an explanation for every question. 10 quizzes from a topic are free on every account.
What an AI quiz generator does
An AI quiz generator reads material — a document you upload or a subject you name — and writes questions about it: the question itself, the answer options, which one is correct, and why. Quiz2Know produces multiple-choice quizzes because they can be scored instantly, retaken endlessly, and shared with a class without anyone marking anything by hand.
The difference from pasting your notes into a general-purpose chatbot is what comes out the other end. A chatbot gives you text to copy around; Quiz2Know gives you a quiz you can take right away, with per-topic statistics, a record of which questions you keep missing, and an explanation attached to every answer. The questions are labelled by topic and difficulty, so you can practise one chapter or only the hard ones.
Everything the generator writes is based on what you gave it. A quiz from your lecture notes tests your lecture notes — not a generic version of the subject — which is what makes it useful the night before an exam.
How to generate a quiz
01
Choose your source
Upload a PDF of up to 30 MB — notes, a textbook chapter, a study guide, a past paper — or simply type a topic such as "photosynthesis" or "Spring Boot".
02
Check the quote
For a document we extract the text first and show you the exact number of questions and the price before anything is charged. A quiz from a topic has 50 questions and is free.
03
Take it, drill it, share it
Answer the questions and read the explanations. Then practise only your weak spots, or send the quiz to a class by link and get every result back.
Why generate quizzes with Quiz2Know
Answers and explanations
Every question comes with the correct answer and a short note on why it is right, so a wrong guess still teaches something.
Labelled by topic and difficulty
Drill one topic, only the hard questions, or only the ones you got wrong last time.
Stats that point at what to revise
Every attempt updates your per-topic scores, so you can see your weak spots shrink.
From a topic, no document needed
Type a subject and get a 50-question quiz from general knowledge. 10 of these are free per account.
Share with a class
Teacher mode sends any quiz by link. Students join with just a name; you get every answer, score and time.
Price shown before you pay
A quiz from a document is a one-off purchase priced by how much text it contains — and you see the number before confirming.
Three ways to make a quiz
| By hand | General chatbot | Quiz2Know | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Time to a 30-question quiz | Hours | Minutes, plus formatting | Seconds |
| Questions from your own document | Yes | Yes, if you paste it | Yes, upload a PDF |
| Takeable online with instant scoring | Only if you build it | No | Yes |
| Explanation for each answer | If you write them | If you ask | Always |
| Per-topic stats and weak-spot practice | No | No | Yes |
| Share with students, collect results | Separately | No | Teacher mode |
A general chatbot can write good questions; what it cannot do is turn them into something you can take, score and track without further work.
Who generates quizzes with it
Students before an exam
Turn the chapters you are tested on into a practice test and find out what you do not know while there is still time to fix it.
Teachers and tutors
Generate a quiz from the material you actually taught, share it by link, and see every student’s answers without marking.
Trainers and onboarding
Make a knowledge check from a policy document or a training deck and confirm people read it.
Frequently asked questions
Is the AI quiz generator free?
Partly. Every account gets 10 quizzes from a topic free, plus 3 free short quizzes from your own documents. After that a quiz from a document is a one-off purchase priced by its length; the free quiz library needs no account at all.
What can I generate a quiz from?
Any PDF or text document with readable text — lecture notes, textbook chapters, study guides, past papers, reports — or just a topic you type. Scanned PDFs work if the scan contains readable text.
What kind of questions does it generate?
Multiple-choice questions with one correct answer and three plausible wrong ones, each labelled by topic and difficulty and paired with a short explanation.
Are the questions accurate?
They are written from the material you provide, and you can review every question before you buy a document quiz. For a quiz from a topic, the questions come from general knowledge, so for your own course material a quiz from your own notes is always the better test.
Can I edit or choose the questions?
You can review them before confirming a purchase, take the quiz by topic or difficulty, and save hand-picked sets. The generated wording itself is not edited in the app.
Can I share a generated quiz?
Yes — with Teacher mode, which starts with a 3-day free trial. Students open your link, enter a name, and take the quiz; you see each result with answers and time taken.
